We have two menus, our catering/banquet menu and our regular dining menu. We will ensure that your event is perfect. Island Park Catering is owned and operated by Scott Thurston.
The Sunbury Social Club was originally founded in December of 1904 as The German Club. As immigrants settled in Sunbury, they pressured the Germans already living there to organize a club where they could continue to study their German culture, literature, and to sing German songs. With Mr. August Korten as chairman the first president of the club was elected, Mr. Adolph Selter then elected a committee consisting of, August Korten, Wilhelm But, Rudolph von Holtz, Gustav Schmalt, and Julius Steegman. The first official meeting was set for December 30, 1904 with by-laws, written in German.
